Sandy Spring Friends School and its
Board of Trustees have been investigating ideas to increase our non-tuition
revenue in order to help keep tuition costs at bay, while at the same time
maintaining the integrity of the school's mission, and our stewardship over the
school's land.
In a response to this opportunity, the school is excited about the prospect of
becoming a revenue-sharing partner with Outdoor Ventures, whose mission and
values coincide very well with those of SSFS. Our plan is to introduce an
Aerial Adventure Park to the Sandy Spring Community. This park will
preserve the natural environment of our campus, and the surrounding land, that
